A Word About Rescue...

At one time or another during (or throughout) their careers, most responsible breeders are involved with their breed's rescue activities.  "Rescue" is a network of people who provide homeless dogs with temporary foster care and find them loving, 'Ridgeback appropriate' homes. 

I am an active volunteer for Ridgeback rescue and I do help when I can, including temporarily housing rescued Rhodesian Ridgebacks from time to time.

If adopting a rescue dog in need of a permanent 'forever' home is more appealing to you than purchasing a puppy, I strongly encourage you to explore the following sites and contact your state rescue Coordinator or Director for more information:
