HOME MADE FLEA REMEDY
Simply sprinkle Borax on your carpets, let it sit for a few minutes or so, then vacuum up. Reapply about once a week for about 3 weeks and your house should be clear of fleas (the 3 weeks is not because it takes that long, but because any eggs will have hatched by then, so you'll get the next batch of fleas before they have a chance to lay new eggs).

Purchase a large salt shaker, and 20-Mule Team Borax (found in the Laundry Soap department)... fill the shaker, sprinkle, vacuum, and voila!!  No adverse affects to pets or people have been reported after using this remedy as directed.

YARD DEODORANT

Sandra Drogmiller - KISSI African Lion Hounds

[used with permission]

Here's a Recipe for a yard deodorant to help with those unpleasant doggie smells:

Mix about 2 c. Listerine original formula (the amber colored stuff that feels like battery acid in your mouth) and 2 oz green Palmolive liquid dish soap in a pump sprayer. Add hot water to make 2 gallons.  Spray problem areas liberally.
