Ridgebacks, being natural pack animals, should get along well with everyone.  Naturally aloof with new people, they should warm to strangers quickly -- both young and old alike. 

 

I'm frequently asked if Ridgebacks do well with kids.  As a breed, some do and some don't.  That's just the simple truth of it. 

 

However, Jabulani dogs generally take to children very well and usually become a child's best friend -- if both are raised to respect one another and treat one another fairly and with kindness.  [Pictured at left is "Kenya" with her special boy, Zachary Sennentz]
